Heroes
 
After the war, people started making poetry for the people that were killed during the war. At one point, it seemed that we were all turned into heroes! Perhaps this was the best way to forget consequences of war.
The video was inspired by the gender of folkloric (provincial) and patriotic music.
Here, the figure and the work of the heroes are hyperbolized to the extreme, to the point were the song is transformed into “tragicomedy”.
The folkloric songs, especially in Balkan, and the need to create synthetic heroes often had negative influences and inspirations.
The video is the parody of these folkloric-patriotic motives where, in this case they sing about urban people(contemporary visual artists) without weapons.
